An alloy consisting of lead and antimony, typically containing 10 to 25% antimony and the remaining portion being lead. The addition of antimony to lead enhances its tensile strength and makes it harder. Antimonial lead finds applications in various industries such as roofing, tank lining, and cladding, where its increased strength and hardness are desirable qualities. It is commonly used in these applications to provide durability and resistance to environmental factors.
